Strand Stories – Sarah Roth, Saltwater Silver

Sarah Roth was a hobby silversmith until taking her craft full time around three years ago. With her first permanent store now open at The Strand at Coolangatta, the qualified silversmith is sharing the joy of handmade silver jewellery and gathering a following of loyal customers.

Inspired by the coastal surroundings of the southern Gold Coast, the store is adorned with images photographed by Sarah herself, featuring her handmade jewellery among coastal settings.  

Sarah says originality, quality and uniqueness are the defining features of her silver jewellery. “Every piece I hand make using top grade crystals and gemstones that I source worldwide, combined with Australian Sterling Silver to create bespoke statement pieces,” she says.

“Everything is made by me on site so customers can see the process behind the jewellery.

“I also encourage my customers to have their own input into designing their piece with me. My name as a silversmith and jewellery artist is growing and by giving that personal touch makes their shopping experience unique.”

Sarah’s jewellery is inspired by where she lives and works, weaving in coastal, ocean and nature themes. Her pieces are constantly evolving year round as she sources newer and rarer crystals to complete her masterpieces.
