Lorna Jane's Peanut Butter & Coffee Protein Smoothie
PEANUT BUTTER & COFFEE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE WITH CHIA CRUMBLE TOPPING
This super-easy and delicious smoothie will give you a burst of energy and keep the hunger pains at bay – whether you're heading off for a work out, or just need to kick-start your day.
What you need for smoothie:
1 frozen banana,
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon cacao powder
2 cups almond milk
2 tbsp of instant espresso coffee (or shot of fresh stuff)
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix. Add more almond milk to your desired consistency.
What you need for chia crumble topping:
1/2 cup cacao nibs
1/3 chia seeds
5 pitted dates
Method:
Mix ingredients in a food processor till they’re crumbly and sprinkle on top of smoothie. If you don’t have a processor, you can roughly chop into a crumble consistency.
