TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR THE HALLOWEEN EVENT AND COMPETITION FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2024
HAPPY HALLOWEEN Spooky Scavenger Hunt at The Strand – This marketing campaign at The Strand offers four days of events for children of all ages with the opportunity to enter a competition that is giving away six toys “Game Packs” to six winners.

THE PROMOTION – HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Spooky Scavenger Hunt
1. The Events are as per dates: Saturday 19 October, Sunday 20 October, Saturday 26 October, Sunday 27 October, 2024. Event times are 10am – 1pm.
THE EVENT
2. There are a total of four event dates. There are no bookings required. Attendees to check-in at host desk located on Ground Floor near Boardriders of The Strand.
3. Participants under 18 years of age, to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
EVENT PARTICIPATION
4. Participants collect a ‘scavenger hunt card’ from the host desk and walk around The Centre to find the four stations. Upon completing the hunt card, they return to the host station to collect a treat.
5. The Treat: Treats will include various chocolates and sweet lollies. Parents to please review ingredients list on packaging for any dietary allergies. The Strand is not responsible for any dietary allergies with complementary treats that are handed out as part of the Event Promotion.
6. Participants of event are entering the Scavenger Hunt at own risk. Participants will walk around the Centre and there will be hired talent at two of the Scavenger Hunt stations that will pop out behind a door to surprise participants.
7. This event is completely free of charge.
8. Competition: Each Scavenger Hunt card has a QR Code on the back. Participants may scan QR Code then enter their personal details as requested, to enter the draw to win. Six winners will announced on Thursday 31 October, 2024. They will be contacted via phone and email. Kids Game Packs to be collected from Centre Management Office between Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Prizes that have been unclaimed by Friday 29 November, 2024 will be re-drawn. There are no exchanges or refunds with prizes.
GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).
2. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.
3. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.
4. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of the Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
ENTRANTS
5. Employees and immediate family members of the Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
6. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.
7. All entry details will remain the property of the Strand at Coolangatta.
8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.
LIABILITY
9. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.
10. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.

11. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by The Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
