Getting here
Located in the heart of the Southern Gold Coast opposite world famous beaches and just 3km from the Gold Coast Airport, getting to The Strand is easy.
If you’re travelling from the northern Gold Coast by public transport, the G-Link can take you from Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach.
From there, the Gold Coast bus 700 leaves every 15 minutes from Broadbeach, and will drop you off just near The Strand.
Whether you’re travelling from Brisbane or Sydney, the main route is via the Pacific highway.
The time taken to drive from Brisbane to Coolangatta is approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes, depending on traffic.
Travelling from Brisbane to Coolangatta via train is an option, but you will also need to catch a bus to reach The Strand.
Take the train direct from Brisbane to Robina Station, and Gold Coast bus 745 can take you from Robina Station to Coolangatta.
