TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR EVENTS FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2025

MONTH OF MUM – During the Month of Mum: Mother’s Day campaign at The Strand offers six events for $10 per person. Maximum number of guests per private event is 20. All proceeds will be donated to charity: Safe Haven Community. The Mother’s Day Campaign also features a Shop & Win competition where entrants can enter from 1 – 25 May, 2025.

THE PROMOTION – MONTH OF MUM: Events

1. The Events are as per dates: 2, 3, 4 May 2025: Terracotta Pot Painting Workshops. 9, 10, 11 May 2025: Watercolour Painting Workshop.

THE EVENTS

2. There is a total of 20 participants per event. All participants to book through Eventbrite booking portal as outlined online and in marketing collateral.

EVENT PARTICIPATION

3. All participants must show proof of purchase via Eventbrite to enter event on said date/per event type.

4. The Strand at Coolangatta takes no responsibility for participants that cannot show proof of purchased of ticket.

5. No refunds.

6. $10 proceeds per event ticket purchased will be donated to said charity.

GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).

8. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.

9. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.

10. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of The Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

ENTRANTS

11. Employees and immediate family members of The Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

12. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.

13. All entry details will remain the property of The Strand at Coolangatta.

14. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.

THE PROMOTION – MONTH OF MUM: Shop & Win: 1 – 25 May, 2025

15. Shop & Win – During the Month of Mum, Mother’s Day campaign at The Strand, shop and spend anywhere at The Strand between 1 – 25 May. Take a photo of your receipt and upload a legible image of receipt to the Shop & Win landing page to enter the draw.

THE PRIZES

16. There is a total of 72 prizes that will be issued to 72 winners.

17. One person per prize.

HOW TO ENTER

18. Spend any amount of money at any retailer at The Strand during the Month of May 2025.

19. Take a photo of your receipt.

20. Upload the image of your receipt to the Shop & Win landing page.

21. The Strand at Coolangatta takes no responsibility for entries that cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason whatsoever. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by The Strand at Coolangatta.

22. Receipt date must be legible and purchase must be made within promotional period.

PRIZE DRAW

23. The winners will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received and will take place at Centre Management, Level 1 The Strand, 72-80 Marine Parade on Monday 30 May, 2025  (“Initial Draw Date”).

24. The winners will be notified via email and/or by phone (if a valid phone number was provided on the entry form). The winner will be given details of how to claim his/her prize upon notification of his/her win.

25. The winner’s prize shall be collected from Centre Management at The Strand at Coolangatta during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm) following the winner’s confirmation.

26. Claims for prize must be made within one month from the Initial Draw Date. Failure to claim a prize within this time or in the manner specified will result in the prize being forfeited and there will be a re-draw for the forfeited prize to be held at Centre Management, Level 1 The Strand, 72-80 Marine Parade on date: Monday 30 June, 2025. New winner to be notified by email and/or by phone (if applicable).

QUALIFYING ENTRANTS

32. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.

33. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.

COMPETITION ENTRIES

34. All entries become and remain the property of The Strand at Coolangatta.

35. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.

36. The specified prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for any other prize.

37. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to substitute the specified prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event that the specified prize is not available.

38. Voucher(s) cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers expiration as per retailers terms on voucher. Prize Winners must abide by Terms and Conditions as per retailers requirements.

LIABILITY

39. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.

40. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.

DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

41. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
