TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR EVENTS FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2024

Secret Garden EASTER 2025 – During April, the Secret Garden campaign at The Strand offers ten days of activities for children ages 3+ and up.

THE PROMOTION – SECRET GARDEN: Events + Easter Egg Hunt

1. The Events are as per dates: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 19 April offer Easter craft activities. 11 and 17 April offer a food biscuit decorating craft. Event will run while supplies last. 19 April offers an Easter Egg Hunt around the Ground Floor of the shopping Centre with 8 retailers, while eggs treats last.

THE EVENTS

2. Participants are not required to book ahead of time. Participants under 18 years of age, to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3. Participants to join in the FREE events held at the workshop set each day for ten days between the hours of 10am – 1pm.

4. Egg Hunt: Participants collect a ‘hunt card’ from the host desk and walk around The Centre to find the 8 retailers that will have eggs to be collected. Upon completing the hunt card, they return to the host station to collect a treat. The treat will be a Cadbury solid Easter eggs.

5. Cadbury Eggs ingredients as per Cadbury website: INGREDIENTS: FULL CREAM MILK, SUGAR, COCOA BUTTER, COCOA MASS, MILK SOLIDS, EMULSIFIERS (SOY LECITHIN, 476), FLAVOURS. Contains MILK CHOCOLATE CONTAINS COCOA SOLIDS 28%, MILK SOLIDS MINIMUM 24%. Contains Milk, Soy. May contain Peanuts, Tree Nuts.

6. Parents to please review ingredients list on packaging for any dietary allergies. The Strand is not responsible for any dietary allergies with complementary treats that are handed out as part of the Event Promotion.

7. Participants of event are entering the Egg Hunt at own risk.

EVENT PARTICIPATION

8. These events will take place on Ground Floor near Boardriders. All participants to make event workshop host aware of any specific dietary allergies or issues before commencing the bunny biscuit decorating. The Strand takes no additional responsibility for any dietary issues. Full ingredients to be provided.

9. These events are completely free of charge.

10. Competition: Upon entering the workshop and on the back of each Egg Hunt card, customers are asked to scan QR Code. Participants may scan QR Code then enter their personal details as requested, to enter the draw to win.

11. Prizes include two $125 Truckloads Gift Cards and 20 x Double Adult Passes to Cinebar Cinemas.

12. 22 winners will announced on Monday 5 May, 2025. They will be contacted via phone and email. Prizes are to be collected from Centre Management Office between Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Prizes that have been unclaimed by Monday 2 June will be re-drawn. There are no exchanges or refunds with prizes.

GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

13. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).

14. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.

15. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.

16. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of the Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

ENTRANTS OF EASTER COMPETITION

17. Competition entrants may not be employees and immediate family members of the Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

18. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.

19. All entry details will remain the property of the Strand at Coolangatta.

20. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.

LIABILITY

21. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.

22. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.

23. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
