Start with the basics
Getting the basics of your outfit right is the key to hassle free dressing. If your wardrobe is in need of a refresh, start with making sure you have the basics you need to suit your lifestyle. These will be timeless pieces in neutral colours, such as black and white tee shirts and tops, a good pair of jeans, black and tan heels and flats, and a fitted jacket. Once you've got your basics sorted, the rest is easy. 
Just add accesssories such as a necklace, scarf, etc plus a cardigan to build layers and add interest to your outfit. Or, choose a seasonal purchase such as a pair of printed pants or top, and match this with your basic top or bottoms with neutral shoes to let the seasonal pieces shine.
