TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR EVENTS FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2024

BLACK FRIDAY SALES EVENTS – From Monday 4 November, 2024 to Friday 29 November, 2024, The Strand will be promoting Black Friday Sales (discounts) on select retailers. Alongside this sales event, The Strand is running a competition to win a $500 Strand Gift Card.

THE PROMOTION – BLACK FRIDAY SALES + BLACK FRIDAY COMPETITION

1. The Black Friday Sales and competition are live from Monday 4 November, 2024 to Friday 29 November, 2024.

THE BLACK FRIDAY SALES

2. There are a total of 14 retailers participating in the Black Friday Sales event. Their offers are listed on the offers page. Access to offers is only available to those who enter their details.

3. Retailers’ offers are subject to their own terms and conditions as per what is listed on offers page, and any additional details listed in store. Please see retailers in store for any additional questions or terms with offers listed.

4. The Strand at Coolangatta takes no responsibility for offers that may change or be cancelled at any point during the promotional period.

$500 VOUCHER COMPETITION

5. Patrons can enter the competition by filling in their details on the Black Friday Sales landing page. Patrons details automatically go in the draw to win the $500 Strand Gift Card whilst also unlocking the Black Friday Sales offers.

6. Only one entry per person will be counted towards winning. Multiple entries do not count for more than one entry.

7. Winner must be 18 years of age or older to enter and win. Government issued photo ID to be presented by winner upon collection of Strand Gift Card.

8. No refunds, no exchanges, no cash returned for card.

9. Winner of $500 Strand Gift Card will be announced on Monday 9 December, 2024, and will be contacted via phone and email. Strand Gift Card to be collected at Centre Management Office between Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. Centre Management Office is located at The Strand on Level 1, between Woolworths and the butcher. If $500 Strand Gift Card is not collected by Monday 6 January, 2025, new winner will be selected.

GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).

2. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.

3. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.

4. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of The Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

ENTRANTS

5. Employees and immediate family members of The Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

6. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.

7. All entry details will remain the property of The Strand at Coolangatta.

8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.

LIABILITY

9. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.

10. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.

11. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by The Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
