Stay N Play Pop Up
From Monday 13 January until Friday 24 January, a fully supervised child-minding service will be open weekdays from 10am to 2pm, giving parents the chance to shop, dine and entertain themselves while the kids enjoy free activities for an hour with the professional Stay N Play team.
The pop-up centre will be located on Level 1 outside Woolworths and will keep the kids busy with a range of activities, including dress ups, craft, reading time and more. Best of all, there is no charge to parents to use this service while they grab the groceries, catch up with friends for coffee or enjoy a cocktail over lunch at one of the oceanfront restaurants at The Strand.
Mum will have time to go to a hair appointment, get a facial, glam new nails or use that massage voucher from Christmas, or simply have a browse through the shops for a new outfit in peace.
Dad will be able to grab a burger and a beer at the new 4 Pines café and bar, head to bowling at Timezone with mates or get all the supplies for a summer BBQ at Salt & Smoke butcher.
If you’ve organised a group lunch or catch up with friends, you can all drop the kids and enjoy an hour of child-free time downstairs or at Level 1 dining. Even the grandparents can enjoy a coffee and lunch before grabbing the grandkids after a fun and busy hour.
Free Craft Workshops

Indoor Fun
When the kids have had enough sun, sand and surf, a little bit of indoor fun is just what they need. Grab some popcorn and chill out at the movies with all the latest summer blockbusters playing at BCC Cinemas on Level 2.
Or head to Timezone on Level 1 and burn up some energy with over 200 of the best arcade games, dodgem cars, laser skirmish and full size bowling lanes for hours of fun.
Once they’ve worked up an appetite, grab some lunch or a snack from any of The Strand’s casual eateries or restaurants located on the Ground Level and Level 1.
