Timezone Wins Award

Congratulations to Timezone Gold Coast which has been named Gold Coast Business of the Year for 2016!

Having only opened Timezone Coolangatta at The Strand in February 2016, the Gold Coast business has been recognised for their contribution to the tourism, hospitality and events sector and the wider appeal of the Gold Coast as a family destination.

Timezone has a long history on the Gold Coast dating back to 1993 when the former Grundy’s site was converted to Timezone Surfers Paradise. Since then, they have expanded their Surfers Paradise centre to 5,000sqm making it Australia’s largest indoor entertainment centre.

Now open at The Strand at Coolangatta, the addition of the 3,000sqm Timezone Coolangatta was part of a $3.5 million investment by Timezone, with 30 staff employed at this new location.
