Fashion focus arrives at The Strand
New designer boutiques have arrived at The Strand in time for summer. Fashion forward Brisbane-based designers AW-SS line the shelves with their own labels, bringing understated pieces with a touch of class to The Strand at Coolangatta. Joining them in our new retail laneway are trend-setters Stock & Supply, with their own line of surf and street wear as well as smaller, independent labels that are hard to find anywhere else.
AW-SS (Autumn/Winter – Summer/Spring reflecting the fashion calendar) drives modern trends through classic pieces, with an emphasis on luxurious, easy to wash and wear fabrics. Leaving structure at the door, their lines appeal to the more relaxed Southern Gold Coast woman with her own sense of style for both workwear and after-five looks.
Their own designer labels include we too are one, séjour club, uno dei due, and dreaming in colour, coordinating the clothing and jewellery to each line’s distinct aesthetic.
Head in store now to AW-SS for khaki-inspired pieces – the must-have colour for next season.
Stock and Supply have also ventured south from the city to soak up the beachside vibes at The Strand, setting up their second shop in less than 6 months.
Owner Myles Secomb began his own label, The Wanderers Co, in 2013 following a career as a magazine photographer. Branching into his own store, Stock and Supply focuses predominantly on men’s surf and street wear, with unique brands including Banks, TCSS, Odd Pears socks, fallen BROKEN Street hats, as well as VANS and a select range of women’s street wear.
You’ll even find locally hand shaped surfboards in store, a select range of leather goods, and other trinkets for guys who are hard to buy for.
Paired with monochromatic mastery at Moelleux, you’ll find a new range of fashion retailers to suit the lifestyle-conscious and the fashion savvy open now at The Strand at Coolangatta.
